- Thyroid 2000: What's New - Toronto chapter organized a public meeting for 500 with the Thyroid Foundation of America and other thyroid organizations in conjunction with the 2000 Endocrine Society Convention in Toronto.

- 1995 - Participation at the 11th International Thyroid Congress and the formation of Thyroid Federation International

- 1981- One of the first Thyroid Public Education Meetings in Canada and the first in Toronto was held with Dr. Gerard N. Burrow, at that time, Head of the Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism at Toronto General Hospital
